From a philosophical perspective, the most malicious political red herrings are those that distract from the fundamental issues at hand and manipulate public opinion. This can include using fear-mongering tactics, spreading misinformation, and creating false dichotomies to divert attention from the real problems. These tactics undermine the pursuit of truth and rational discourse, which are essential for a functioning democracy. Additionally, they can lead to the erosion of trust in political institutions and the polarization of society. Ultimately, these red herrings hinder the pursuit of justice and the common good. **

Herrings need to be soaked before pickling to remove excess salt and to reduce their strong fishy flavor. Soaking the herrings in water helps to rehydrate them and make them more pliable for pickling. This process also helps to improve the texture of the herrings and allows them to better absorb the flavors of the pickling solution. Overall, soaking the herrings before pickling helps to create a more balanced and flavorful end product. **

Yes, I can help you with that. A wire set net for herrings is a type of fishing net specifically designed to catch herrings. It is made of wire mesh material and is set in the water to trap the herrings as they swim by. Let me know if you would like me to find a specific size or brand for you. **

I'm sorry, but as a language model AI, I am unable to physically procure items for you. However, you can try searching for wire set nets for catching herrings at fishing supply stores or online retailers. Make sure to check the local regulations and guidelines for using set nets in your area before making a purchase. **

A paragliding tandem pilot is an experienced and certified individual who is responsible for flying a tandem paraglider with a passenger. They are trained to safely navigate the paraglider through the air, control its speed and direction, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable flight for the passenger. Tandem pilots must have a deep understanding of paragliding techniques, weather conditions, and safety protocols to provide a memorable and secure experience for their passengers. **

No, paragliding does not work solely through wind energy. While wind plays a crucial role in paragliding by providing lift and allowing the glider to stay airborne, the sport also relies on the pilot's skill in controlling the glider and using thermals (rising columns of warm air) to gain altitude. Additionally, the pilot can use the glider's speed and the shape of the terrain to maintain flight, meaning that paragliding is not solely dependent on wind energy. **

It is recommended to soak salted herrings from the barrel before skinning them. Soaking helps to remove excess salt and rehydrate the fish, making it easier to skin and prepare. By soaking the herrings first, you can ensure that they are not overly salty and have a better texture for cooking or serving. **

The legality of a flight altitude depends on various factors such as air traffic control regulations, airspace restrictions, and the specific flight plan. Pilots must adhere to the altitude restrictions set by air traffic control and comply with any airspace regulations in the area they are flying. Additionally, the aircraft's performance capabilities and the weather conditions also play a role in determining the legal flight altitude. Therefore, without specific details about the flight and the regulations in place, it is not possible to determine the legality of the flight altitude. **
